His father was Deputy Chief Constable. Victor's address in his will was Balham Villa, Granby Street, Newmarket.
In the 1939 register Victor, a solicitor's clerk, was at Balham Villa, Granby Street, Newmarket with his father Sidney W [11-4-1890] Police Superintendent; mother Ellen Flore [25-1-1891] a V.A.D.nurse and Dorothy A Perry [17-10-1894] a widow, V.A.D. nurse. There is one closed record |

Victor died as a prisoner of war of the Japanese, captured at the surrender of Singapore to the Japanese on 15th February 1942 Originally buried at Tamakan Bridge Hospital, Victor was moved to Kanchanaburi on 29th January 1946. |
